Bio
Hello, my name is Patti Travis and I am happy to be back home here at St. Luke Catholic School. My family has been parishioners here at St. Luke’s for over 30 years. I have two children that attended school here. My daughter was in the first kindergarten class. I then became the aide in kindergarten the following three years. I volunteered countless hours as a parent over the 12 years my children were here.
I was a Girl Scout leader of Troop #537 here at St. Luke’s for 14 years. My proudest moment was when all 8 girls earned their Gold Award in 2004. It was a very rewarding experience starting with them in kindergarten as Daisy Girl Scouts, to seeing my troop go all the way through high school and achieving the highest award in Girl Scouts.
In 2004 I came back to work here for three years as the aide in first grade. I enjoyed being back here among friends and felt very at home. I have always enjoyed working with children and especially here at St. Luke’s. I love to watch the kids faces light up when they learn something new and exciting.
This is my seventh year working with the children, and I am so excited to be back home at St. Luke Catholic School.
