Bio
Hello, my name is Nickolas Hernandez, and I will be teaching the
4th grade class here at St. Luke Catholic school. It has always been a dream of mine to be an educator, but as we all know, life sometimes pushes us in different directions. Now, with the help of my beautiful wife and children I am able to focus on my teaching career and here I am. Just in the short time that I have been here at St. Luke, I have seen nothing but positive attitudes and love for one another. I am excited to be here with the parish and look forward to working hand and hand with the other teachers and families. I have been a practicing Catholic all my life, grade school I attended St. John the Baptist in Baldwin Park, and then high school at Bishop Amat high school in La Puente. Three out of four children attend Catholic school, so I am no stranger to the hard sacrifices you all make as parents to send your children to Catholic school. As for my college education, I received my bachelor’s from Grand Canyon University, and currently I am enrolled in the master’s program pursuing higher education. I look forward to an awesome and adventurous year and look forward to meeting all our families in the parish.
