Academics

Saint Luke School is a Catholic Parish School offering Transitional Kindergarten to Eighth grades.  We offer the following:

·         Religion  (Taught as a subject and as a preparation for the                              Sacraments.  Non- Catholic students are expected to participate in all        of our religious services with their classmates.)

·         Language Arts (including Reading, English Grammar and                             Composition, Phonics, Spelling/ Vocabulary, Handwriting and the               Appreciation of Literature)

·         Mathematics (Advanced Math, Pre-Algebra and Algebra is available            to qualified 6th—8th grade students)

·         Social Studies  

·         Science 

·         Computer (Computer instruction takes place in our Computer Lab)

·         Physical Education  

·         Music (Music is an important part of our Fine Arts Program.  All students have             the opportunity to join the weekly Liturgical song leaders.)

·          Art (In addition to existing classroom art projects, we teach Meet the Masters,             which introduces the students to two new artists each year.)
  • Spanish  (Students in lower grades- TK to 4th -are introduced with the basics in the subject. Upper grades- 5th to 8th- are taught more in depth which prepares them for high school Spanish higher levels.}
